Ysgol Llwyn Yr Eos, Penparcau visit Nanteos

For the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol 2022 held at Tregaron, local schools of Ceredigion were involved in a project for Ceredigion Welsh Development Team. The children were asked to produce a piece of work for the ‘Cynefin Project’ by visiting local historical places in Ceredigion and investigate the history of their chosen place. Their conclusions would be produced into a comic panel that would be contributed towards the ‘Cynefin y Cardi’ comic, their design professional produced by CISP Multimedia Ltd. The hard work of all the school children in Ceredigion were displayed on a large billboard at the Eisteddfod and the comic was available to buy at the ‘Ceredigion village’ located at the Eisteddfod.
A fabulous time was had at Nanteos in March 2022, with the school children of Ysgol Llwyn Yr Eos, Penparcau. Where they explored the grounds and mansion for their ‘Cynefin Project’. Choosing Nanteos for their project gave them an insight to the history of the Nanteos Cup. Later in the afternoon the pupils visited the National Library of Wales to see the famous Nanteos Cup.
